E5 Flower Series 1984 – 1990

Outdoor Window boxes together with interior and outdoor window sills form the furniture for the flower works of this period.  As a recurring theme, flowers bought from visits to the Columbia Road Flower Market, are coupled with ledges, pots and back yards for explorations in line, mark, media and colour.  Use of colour overlays using transparent media to include ink, tempera and watercolour with opaque pastel are a focus for drawings at this time.
